Environmental Impact
All of Solis BioDyne’s products are room temperature stable for 1-6 months (depending on the product) due to their patented Stability TAG technology. From Solis BioDyne’s article about stability, their “Stability TAG increases polypeptide shelf life and its tolerance for temperature at a wider scale without compromising the properties of the polypeptide itself. After being stored at room temperature for one month, there is no detectable change in the performance of the enzymes”. This allows the products to be sent without ice all over the world making the shipping much faster and significantly lowering the shipping costs. There are also no problems when someone forgets to put the product in the freezer or when there is a power outage. Since they don’t need to be shipped on ice, Solis BioDyne use envelopes instead of sytofoam boxes. Shipping at room temperature allows for Solis BioDyne to use less styrofoam boxes each year, reducing trash and lowering their carbon footprint.
