-
HBS: Human Biological Samples
Request human biosamples including tissues, blood, serum, bone marrow, tissue microarrays, etc.
-
Safety Pharmacology
Assess the impact of a therapeutic for human use on vital organ systems before first-in-man drug testing.
-
Cytotoxicity
Test for effects on cell viability and proliferation
-
Adherent Cell Culture
Grow monolayers of anchorage-dependent cells.
-
3D Cell Culture
Use a scaffold-based or scaffold-free format to grow three dimensional cell and tissue structures.
-
Cytochrome P450s
Assess the inhibition or induction of the various isozymes of cytochrome P450s by drug candidates.
-
Metabolic Stability
Measure metabolic vulnerability to drug metabolizing enzymes using cell-free, cell-based and in vivo assays.
-
Metabolic Stability in Hepatocytes
Assess the susceptibility of drugs to metabolism by Phase I (CYP450) and Phase II enzymes in liver cells.
-
Human Primary Cells
Acquire fresh/frozen human primary cells based on patient demographics, disease stage, history and treatment. Cell Lines typically refer to legacy immortalised cells, that can be cultured and passaged “indefinitely” Primary Cells are cells that have been isolated from fresh tissue (or cultures) that have not be immortalised and after a certain amount of passaging they will reach senescence. iPSCs, induced pluripotent stem cells, are cells that have (through GM or culturing conditions) have been revert back to the pluripotency state. The original cells can be a cell line or a primary cell.
-
Hepatocyte Toxicity
Assess the cytotoxic effects of pre-clinical compounds on hepatocytes purified from patients and animal models.
