GAGE2A Human Recombinant produced in E.coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 139 amino acids (1-116) and having a molecular mass of 15.0kDa.GAGE2A is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
GAGE2A is a member of a multigene family expressed in a large variety of tumors while in normal tissues; expression is limited to germ cells. These genes organized in clustered repeats, have a high degree of predicted sequence identity, however differ by scattered single nucleotide change. Their sequences have either the antigenic peptide YRPRPRRY or YYWPRPRRY which is recognized by cytotoxic T-cells.

- Storage Condition: Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
