RAF1 Antibody (S339) Blocking Peptide

Abcepta

DETAILS

  • Format: Peptides are lyophilized in a solid powder format. Peptides can be reconstituted in solution using the appropriate buffer as needed.
  • Gene Id: 5894
  • Category: Peptides; Blocking Peptides
  • Subtitle: Synthetic peptide
  • Gene Name: RAF1
  • Other Names: RAF proto-oncogene serine/threonine-protein kinase, Proto-oncogene c-RAF, cRaf, Raf-1, RAF1, RAF
  • Availability: 2 weeks
  • Bio Background: RAF1 is a MAP kinase kinase kinase (MAP3K) which functions downstream of the Ras family of membrane associated GTPases to which it binds directly. Once activated, RAF1 can phosphorylate to activate the dual specificity protein kinases MEK1 and MEK2 which in turn phosphorylate to activate the serine/threonine specific protein kinases ERK1 and ERK2. Activated ERKs are pleiotropic effectors of cell physiology and play an important role in the control of gene expression involved in the cell division cycle, apoptosis, cell differentiation and cell migration.

  • Primary Accession: P04049
  • Targetspecificity: The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP7816k was selected from the S339 region of human RAF1. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.
