GPNMB Antibody (C-term) Blocking Peptide

Abcepta

DETAILS

  • Format: Peptides are lyophilized in a solid powder format. Peptides can be reconstituted in solution using the appropriate buffer as needed.
  • Gene Id: 10457
  • Category: Peptides; Blocking Peptides
  • Subtitle: Synthetic peptide
  • Gene Name: GPNMB
  • Other Names: Transmembrane glycoprotein NMB, Transmembrane glycoprotein HGFIN, GPNMB, HGFIN, NMB
  • Availability: 2 weeks
  • Bio Background: The protein encoded by this gene is a type I transmembraneglycoprotein which shows homology to the pMEL17 precursor, amelanocyte-specific protein. GPNMB shows expression in the lowlymetastatic human melanoma cell lines and xenografts but does notshow expression in the highly metastatic cell lines. GPNMB may beinvolved in growth delay and reduction of metastatic potential. Twotranscript variants encoding different isoforms have been found forthis gene.
