PSA Antibody (C-term) Blocking Peptide

Abcepta

DETAILS

  • Format: Peptides are lyophilized in a solid powder format. Peptides can be reconstituted in solution using the appropriate buffer as needed.
  • Gene Id: 9520
  • Category: Peptides; Blocking Peptides
  • Subtitle: Synthetic peptide
  • Gene Name: NPEPPS
  • Other Names: Puromycin-sensitive aminopeptidase, PSA, Cytosol alanyl aminopeptidase, AAP-S, NPEPPS, PSA
  • Availability: 2 weeks
  • Bio Background: PSA is the puromycin-sensitive aminopeptidase, a zinc metallopeptidase which hydrolyzes amino acids from the N-terminus of its substrate. The protein has been localized to both the cytoplasm and to cellular membranes. This enzyme degrades enkaphalins in the brain, and studies in mouse suggest that it is involved in proteolytic events regulating the cell cycle.
  • Bio References: Thompson,M.W., Peptides 24 (9), 1359-1365 (2003)
  • Primary Accession: P55786
  • Targetspecificity: The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP6563b was selected from the C-term region of human PSA. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.
