  • Applications: Useful for the study of bromodomain binding assays, screening inhibitors, and selectivity profiling.
  • Host Species: E. coli
  • Product Type: Protein
  • Biosafety Level: Not applicable (BSL-1)
  • Assay Conditions: BRD2 is incubated with biotinylated acetyl-histone peptide substrate (BPS #33000) in BRD assay buffer (BPS #33001) in a 10 µl reaction for 1 hour at RT. AlphaLISA® Nickel Chelate acceptor beads (PerkinElmer) are added, followed by Alphascreen® Streptavidin-conjugated donor beads (PerkinElmer). After 1 hour minute incubation at RT, Alphacounts are measured.
  • Storage Stability: At least 6 months at -80°C.
  • Scientific Category: Bromodomain
  • Instructions for Use: Thaw on ice and gently mix prior to use. DO NOT VORTEX. Perform a quick spin before opening. Aliquot into small volumes and flash freeze for long term storage. Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
