DESCRIPTION

Fc Gamma Receptor 2B (FcGR2B, FcγRIIB), also known as CD32B, is a "low affinity" receptor for Immunoglobulin G (IgG). FcGR2B is involved in the phagocytosis of immune complexes and in the regulation of antibody production by B-cells. It is the predominant Fc receptor present on B cells. Crosslinking of antibodies by FcGR-expression cells can promote receptor clustering and increase downstream signaling. FcGR2B crosslinking is important for anti-TNFR receptor antibodies.The FcGRIIB Lentivirus are replication incompetent, HIV-based, VSV-G pseudotyped lentiviral particles that are ready to be transduced into almost all types mammalian cells, including primary and non-dividing cells. The particles contain a FcGRIIB gene (NM_004001.4) driven by a CMV promoter.

  • Warnings: Biosafety: None of the HIV genes (gag, pol, rev) will be expressed in the transduced cells, as they are expressed from packaging plasmids lacking the packing signal. Although the pseudotyped lentiviruses are replication-incompetent, they require the use of a Biosafety Level 2 facility. BPS recommends following all local federal, state, and institutional regulations and using all appropriate safety precautions.
