BP1960c

Mut-16 Antibody (Center) Blocking Peptide

Abcepta

DETAILS

  • Format: Peptides are lyophilized in a solid powder format. Peptides can be reconstituted in solution using the appropriate buffer as needed.
  • Gene Id: 172873
  • Category: Peptides; Blocking Peptides
  • Subtitle: Synthetic peptide
  • Gene Name: O62011
  • Availability: 2 weeks
  • Bio Background: Mut-16 encodes a glutamine/asparagine (Q/N)-rich domain-containing protein that lacks obvious homologs outside of other nematode species; MUT-16 activity is required for RNA-mediated interference (RNAi), transgene silencing in germ-line and somatic tissues, and for maintaining low levels of transposon mobilization; MUT-16 is thus predicted to play a role in chromatin organization and/or regulation of gene expression.

  • Primary Accession: O62011
  • Targetspecificity: The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP1960c was selected from the Center region of human Mut-16. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.
