POU2F2 Antibody (N-term) Blocking peptide

Abcepta

DETAILS

  • Format: Peptides are lyophilized in a solid powder format. Peptides can be reconstituted in solution using the appropriate buffer as needed.
  • Gene Id: 5452
  • Category: Peptides; Blocking Peptides
  • Subtitle: Synthetic peptide
  • Gene Name: POU2F2
  • Other Names: POU domain, class 2, transcription factor 2, Lymphoid-restricted immunoglobulin octamer-binding protein NF-A2, Octamer-binding protein 2, Oct-2, Octamer-binding transcription factor 2, OTF-2, POU2F2, OCT2, OTF2
  • Availability: 2 weeks
  • Bio Background: POU2F2 is a transcription factor that specifically binds to the octamer motif (5'-ATTTGCAT-3'). Regulates transcription in a number of tissues in addition to activating immunoglobulin gene expression. Modulates transcription transactivation by NR3C1, AR and PGR. Isoform 5 activates the U2 small nuclear RNA (snRNA) promoter.

  • Primary Accession: P09086
  • Targetspecificity: The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP13842a was selected from the N-term region of POU2F2. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.
