CRP Mouse

Abeomics

DESCRIPTION

Source: Sf9, Baculovirus cells.Sterile Filtered clear solution.C-Reactive Protein or CRP, is a protein, part of the pentraxin superfamily. Among the protein's activities, CRP can promote agglutination, swelling of the bacteria capsule, phagocytosis etc. this protein can also cause complement fixation via a calcium-dependent binding to the molecule phosphorylcholine.CRP Mouse Recombinant produced in Sf9 Baculovirus cells is a single, glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 214 amino acids (20-225 a.a) & having a molecular mass of 24.1 kDa. CRP is fused to a 8 amino acid His-tag at C-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
