DESCRIPTION

Catalog # PG-002 is a fully chemically synthesized (animal-component free), cost effective, and stable peptide that functions as TGFβ1 inhibitor. Existing small molecule inhibitors must enter the cells to inhibit TGFβ1 activity, while PG-002 binds to TGFβ1 extracellularly. Use of PG-002 is recommended when neutralization of TGFβ1 is required in cell culture. Please note that 10 µg of PG-002 is equivalent to ~600 µg of antibody 1D11 due to difference in molecular weight.
