- Open Babel Depiction _ O O + N N H O N O N H

DESCRIPTION

CNQX is a potent AMPA/kainate receptor antagonist. It also acts an antagonist to the NMDA receptor complex at the glycine site. It is reported to block the excitatory action of kainate and quisqualate on spinal neurons with little or no effect on that of NMDA.
