Protein Stain Kit for Transfer Membrane: Because the minimum detectable level of protein on blotting membrane is ~100ng, many proteins with trace amount fail to be detected on membrane. This kit utilizes dye technologies containing copper ion which appears as blue-green bands on blotting membrane. The kit is capable of detecting 5-10ng protein on nitrocellulose (NC) membrane or 25-50ng protein on poly(vinyldifluoride) (PVDF) membrane. In addition, the treatment with de-staining solution does not affect the antigenicity of protein on membrane, thus not affect subsequent experiments such as western blot, dot blot as well as N-terminal sequencing.
