Fucokinase Antibody (C-term) Blocking Peptide

Abcepta

DETAILS

  • Format: Peptides are lyophilized in a solid powder format. Peptides can be reconstituted in solution using the appropriate buffer as needed.
  • Gene Id: 197258
  • Category: Peptides; Blocking Peptides
  • Subtitle: Synthetic peptide
  • Gene Name: FCSK
  • Other Names: L-fucose kinase, Fucokinase, FUK
  • Availability: 2 weeks
  • Bio Background: Fucokinase belongs to the GHMP (galacto-, homoserine, mevalonate and phosphomevalonate) kinase family and catalyzes the phosphorylation of L-fucose to form beta-L-fucose 1-phosphate. This enzyme catalyzes the first step in the utilization of free L-fucose in glycoprotein and glycolipid synthesis. L-fucose may be important in mediating a number of cell-cell interactions such as blood group antigen recognition, inflammation, and metastatis.

  • Other Accession: NP_659496
  • Primary Accession: Q8N0W3
  • Targetspecificity: The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP8165b was selected from the C-term region of human Fucokinase. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.
