2-Hydroxyethyl palmitate

DESCRIPTION

2-Hydroxyethyl palmitate is used as a stabilizer for water-in-oil emulsions, although it has poor emulsifying properties. It has emollient property and is also used as an opacifying, thickening, and dispersing agent.
