Anti-Lactate dehydrogenase B chain, LDH-B antibody

Biospes

DESCRIPTION

Lactate dehydrogenase (LDH or LD) is an enzyme present in a wide variety of organisms, including plants and animals. The LDHB gene contains 7 coding exons[1] and located on the short arm of chromosome 12. The LDHB protein contains 333 amino acids. Nucleotide and amino acid sequences for the LDHB enzyme showed 68% and 75% identity, respectively, with those of LDHA. It can catalyzes the interconversion of lactate and pyruvate.
