DESCRIPTION
mouse monoclonal IgG1; FPR2 Antibody (GM1D6) is an IgG1 κ mouse monoclonal FPR2 antibody (also designated Formyl Peptide Receptor-Like 1 antibody, LXA4R antibody, HM63 antibody, N-Formyl Peptide Receptor 2 antibody, FMLP-Related Receptor I antibody, LXA4 Receptor antibody, FMLP-R-II antibody, FMLP-R-I antibody, FMLPX antibody, FPR2A antibody, FPRH1 antibody, FPRH2 antibody, FPRL1 antibody, ALXR antibody, or Lipoxin A4 Receptor antibody) that detects the FPR2 protein of human origin by WB, IP and FCM. FPR2 Antibody (GM1D6) is available as both the non-conjugated anti-FPR2 antibody form, as well as multiple conjugated forms of anti-FPR2 antibody, including agarose, HRP, PE, FITC and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The N-formyl peptide receptor (FPR) family is comprised of three members, FPR, FPR like-1 (FPRL1, also designated lipoxin A4 receptor, FPRH1 and FPR2) and FPR like-2 (FPRL2), all of which are chemotactic G protein-coupled receptors that contain seven transmembrane domains. These receptors are found on the surface of phagocytic leukocytes, such as neutrophils and monocytes, and each family member contains specific residues, which are responsible for determining its ligand specificity. FPRL1 is a promiscuous receptor that binds to several ligands, including lipoxin A4, N-formyl-methionyl-leucyl-phenylalanine (fMLP), serum amyloid A (SAA), prion peptide and the 42 amino acid form of b amyloid (2-4). Upon activation, FPRL1 induces migration and calcium mobilization in human monocytes and neutrophils and is involved in inflammatory and host defense responses (1,4,5). FPRL1 may mediate inflammation in prion and Alzheimer's diseases, which makes it a potential target for therapeutic agents.
