  • Category: REAGENTS
  • Keywords: Agarose, Agarose Gel, agarose gel electrophoresis, why does dna move through an agarose gel, what is agarose, how to make agarose gel, agarose powder, agarose gel not solidifying, density of agarose, super fine resolution agarose, superfine agarose, super fine resolution, screening agarose, sieving agarose, sieve agarose, molecular biology agarose, pcr agarose
  • Paragraph 1: Apex Super Fine Resolution Agarose is a molecular screening agarose which rivals acrylamide in its ability to resolve small DNA fragments less than 1000bp, including AFLPs, STRs and tetranucleotide repeats. It was specifically formulated for applications that require efficient separation of small DNA fragments and PCR products. DNA bands differing in size by only 2% can be resolved in the range of 200 - 1000bp. That's a 4bp resolution capability!
  • Bullet Point 1: For high resolution of small DNA fragments/amplicons 15bp - 1200bp
  • Bullet Point 2: Rivals acrylamide with a 4bp resolution capability
  • Bullet Point 3: Improved clarity of the gel enhances visibility
  • Bullet Point 4: Better handling than other agaroses due to stronger gel structure and higher gel strength
  • Bullet Point 5: Improves resolution of small DNA fragments and PCR products
  • Bullet Point 6: High gel strength allows for use in blotting
