DESCRIPTION

CBQCA (3-(4-carboxybenzoyl)quinoline-2-carboxaldehyde) reacts specifically with primary amines to form conjugates that can be analyzed by electrophoretic or chromatographic methods. CBQCA also reacts with hydrophilic peptides and amino sugars.  The amine derivatized product (7-aza-1-cyano-5,6-benzisoindole) is highly fluorescent. &lamba;Ex/&lamba; Em(MeOH) = 465/560 nm (for reaction product with amines) Light yellow solid soluble in DMF or DMSO Store at -20°C and protect from light C18H11NO4 MW: 305
