Tenascin-C (E-9) FITC

Santa Cruz Biotechnology

DESCRIPTION

mouse monoclonal IgG1; Tenascin-C Antibody (E-9) is an IgG1 κ mouse monoclonal Tenascin-C antibody (also designated hexameric disulfide-linked Tenascin C antibody, TN-C antibody, extracellular matrix (ECM) glycoprotein antibody, EGF-like and fibronectin type-III domain containing anti-adhesive ECM protein antibody, or tenascin (TN) gene family type C antibody) that detects the Tenascin-C protein of human origin by WB, IP, IF, IHC(P) and ELISA. Tenascin-C Antibody (E-9) is available as both the non-conjugated anti-Tenascin-C antibody form, as well as multiple conjugated forms of anti-Tenascin-C antibody, including agarose, HRP, PE, FITC and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The tenascin family of extracellular matrix proteins includes Tenascin-C (also designated cytotactin or Tenascin), Tenascin-R (also designated restrictin, TN-R or janusin) and Tenascin-X. Tenascin proteins function as substrate-adhesion molecules (SAMs) and are involved in regulating numerous developmental processes, such as morphogenetic cell migration and organogenesis. The tenascin family proteins arise from various splicing events in the region of coding for FNIII repeats. Tenascin-C and Tenascin-X are expressed in several tissues during embryogenesis and in adult tissues undergoing active remodeling, such as healing wounds and tumors. Tenascin-R is expressed on the surface of neurons and glial cells.
