Anti-Polo-Like Kinase (Thr210) Antibody

PhosphoSolutions

DESCRIPTION

Our Anti-Polo-Like Kinase (Thr210) rabbit polyclonal phosphospecific primary antibody from PhosphoSolutions is produced in-house. It detects human and rat Polo-Like Kinase (Thr210) and is antigen affinity purified from pooled serum. It is great for use in WB.

DETAILS

  • Form: Antigen Affinity Purified from Pooled Serum
  • Gene: PLK1
  • Host: Rabbit
  • Rrid: AB_2492209
  • Type: Primary Antibody

  • Molecular Weight: 66
  • Production Notes: Prepared from pooled rabbit serum by affinity purification via sequential chromatography on phospho and non-phosphopeptide affinity columns.
  • Dilution Range Wb: 1:1000
  • Immunogen Species: Human
  • Species Reactivity: Human and Rat
  • Target Description: Polo-like kinases are important regulators of cell cycle progression. PLK1 is a highly conserved Ser/Thr kinase that has essential roles in the formation of mitotic bipolar spindles (van Vugt et al., 2004). Deregulated expression of PLK’s is detected in many types of cancer and associated with oncogenesis (Takei et al., 2005). It has been proposed that PLK1 function is altered at different stages of mitosis through consecutive phosphorylation events at Ser-137 and Thr-210 (van de Weerdt et al., 2005).
  • Expected Reactivity: Bovine, Canine, Non-Human Primate, Mouse, Xenopus, Zebrafish
  • Dilution Range Wb Brain: 1:1000
  • Uniprot Number Immunogen Species: P53350
  • Post Translational Modification Type: Phosphorylated
  • Post Translational Modification Residue: Thr210
