Hop (E-1)

Santa Cruz Biotechnology

DESCRIPTION:
mouse monoclonal IgG1; Hop Antibody (E-1) is an IgG1 κ mouse monoclonal Hop antibody (also designated HOPX antibody, NECC1 antibody, LAGY antibody, HOP antibody, OB1 antibody, Lung Cancer-Associated Y Protein antibody, Homeodomain-Only Protein antibody, Odd Homeobox Protein 1 antibody, SMAP31 antibody, HOD antibody, Not Expressed In Choriocarcinoma Protein 1 antibody, or TOTO antibody) that detects the Hop protein of mouse, rat and human origin by WB, IP, IF, IHC(P) and ELISA. Hop Antibody (E-1) is available as both the non-conjugated anti-Hop antibody form, as well as multiple conjugated forms of anti-Hop antibody, including agarose, HRP, PE, FITC and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Hop encodes a homeodomain-containing protein derived from several transcript splice variants. Nkx2.5-mediated Hop gene expression initiates early during cardiogenesis and continues in cardiomyocytes throughout embryonic and postnatal development. Hop associates with and inhibits trans-acting serum response factor (SRF)-dependent transcription, which regulates the opposing processes of proliferation and myogenesis. Hop modulation of SRF activity ensures a balance between cardiomyocyte proliferation and differentiation during cardiac morphogenesis.
