GelMA C combines GelMA with nanofibrillated cellulose, which is jointly patented by UPM-Kymmene Corporation and CELLINK AB. The nanosized fibrils maintain the bioink translucent which allows cell imaging and analysis. This unique blend offers smooth printability at ambient conditions and low extrusion pressures using a wide range of nozzle diameters, while retaining universal cell attachment motifs from GelMA.
