DESCRIPTION
IBMX is a general inhibitor of cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterases, increasing the level of intracellular cAMP. It is used to increase cell differentiation, decrease proliferation, and induce apoptosis. IBMX is reported to inhibit TNF-alpha, reduce inflammation, and activate PKA.
