DETAILS

  • Format: Peptides are lyophilized in a solid powder format. Peptides can be reconstituted in solution using the appropriate buffer as needed.
  • Gene Id: 7139
  • Category: Peptides; Blocking Peptides
  • Subtitle: Synthetic peptide
  • Gene Name: TNNT2
  • Other Names: Troponin T, cardiac muscle, TnTc, Cardiac muscle troponin T, cTnT, TNNT2
  • Availability: 2 weeks
  • Bio Background: The protein encoded by this gene is thetropomyosin-binding subunit of the troponin complex, which islocated on the thin filament of striated muscles and regulatesmuscle contraction in response to alterations in intracellularcalcium ion concentration. Mutations in this gene have beenassociated with familial hypertrophic cardiomyopathy as well aswith dilated cardiomyopathy. Transcripts for this gene undergoalternative splicing that results in many tissue-specific isoforms, however, the full-length nature of some of these variants has notyet been determined.
