DESCRIPTION
The first of its kind, the OMEGA-96-ACE Triple-Chamber Neuronal Co-culture Microplate is a HTS-compatible version of the popular OMEGA-ACE. The triple-compartment design is ideal for carrying out neuronal toxic species uptake, transport and propagation assays, and greatly simplifies the interpretation of the results obtained from these types of experiments. This microplate is also simple to use for triple-co-culture applications, for example when interrogating more complex neurodegenerative and pain pathways. OMEGA-96-ACE microplates come ready to use: sterile, hydrophilic, and pre-bonded to a thin, high-transmissive glass bottom. Its open-chamber design provides full access to cultures and ample room to accommodate explants or self-assembled 3D cultures (e.g. organoids) in experiments. This also ensures that the microplate's 32 experimental units are compatible with lab automation and robotic systems such as microplate washers, plate readers, high-content imagers, pinning tools and plate hotels. This OMEGA-96-ACE microplate is shipped precoated with poly-D-lysine.
