DESCRIPTION

Cyclopamine is a steroidal alkaloid inhibitor of the hedgehog signaling pathway (Hh), an essential pathway for embryonic development. It is reported to be capable of inducing differentiation of stem cells into endocrine cells and various anti-cancer applications by suppressing excess Hh activity.
