DESCRIPTION

Gatifloxacin is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic that inhibits bacterial DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV. It is potent against gram positive and gram negative bacteria and is reported to promote self-renewal in cultured embryonic stem cells.
