CD138 Antibody (C-term K281) Blocking Peptide

Abcepta

DETAILS

  • Format: Peptides are lyophilized in a solid powder format. Peptides can be reconstituted in solution using the appropriate buffer as needed.
  • Gene Id: 6382
  • Category: Peptides; Blocking Peptides
  • Subtitle: Synthetic peptide
  • Gene Name: SDC1
  • Other Names: Syndecan-1, SYND1, CD138, SDC1, SDC
  • Availability: 2 weeks
  • Bio Background: CD138 is a transmembrane (type I) heparan sulfate proteoglycan and is a member of the syndecan proteoglycan family. The syndecans mediate cell binding, cell signaling, and cytoskeletal organization and syndecan receptors are required for internalization of the HIV-1 tat protein. The syndecan-1 protein functions as an integral membrane protein and participates in cell proliferation, cell migration and cell-matrix interactions via its receptor for extracellular matrix proteins.

  • Primary Accession: P18827
  • Targetspecificity: The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP2948b was selected from the C-term region of human CD138. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.
