High-Resolution Mapping of Genome-Wide Protein DNA Binding Using CUT&RUN and CUT&Tag

Scientist on March 28, 2021

Date: April 28. Time: 8:30 AM PDT.

CUT&RUN and CUT&Tag are two powerful methods to reliably map protein DNA interactions, primarily for histone modifications, transcription factors, and other epigenetically relevant markers. Compared to established methods pursuing the same goal they are characterized by an exceptionally high signal to noise ratio, superior resolution, and an easy workflow. Since their inception in 2017 and 2019 respectively, both methods have been widely adopted and several variations for specific experimental settings have been conceived.
The webinar will provide a short introduction into CUT&RUN and CUT&Tag and some variations as well as their differences to alternative methods such as ChIP-seq and ATAC-seq. Lastly, we discuss antibodies-online antibodies and other products for CUT&RUN and CUT&Tag.
