Increase Your Lab’s Productivity With Automaxion

Labs Explorer on February 4, 2019

Innovation and productivity are always major challenges for any industry, and especially in science-based industries, like pharmaceutics or agri-food. We decided to interview Stephen Bysouth, systems project manager at Automaxion, a French lab that works in sample milling, cocrystal screening, and homogenization tools. Their technology provides its clients with ways to stay innovative in their field while gaining higher productivity.

About your lab, what is its history, its mission?

Automaxion has developed unique patented systems that increase the productivity of our clients, including sample milling, cocrystal screening, and homogenization tools. These products can be used in the development of Crop Protectants, Pharmaceuticals, Ink and Pigment Dispersions, Foods, Ceramics, Catalysts, Metallization Pastes, etc. Our system is what we believe to be a tool that enables the fastest way to screen cocrystals in the pharmaceuticals industry. Our latest application of technology is the most convenient way to screen pigment dispersions for coatings and ink development. If you have something that you think could benefit by using our mill, then please let us know. We are always interested in trying something new.

What services does your lab offer?

We can advise on high-throughput technologies, robotics, and automation workflows and develop specific solutions to technological needs. We work with our customers to solve their problems with innovative solutions.

We provide equipment for milling multiple small samples from 4 mg to 10’s g. The systems are used for pharmaceutical cocrystal screening, dispersion of pigment samples, milling refractories and catalysts… anywhere where someone needs to optimize a formulation or screen milling conditions, etc.
