This tool combines two neuroscience techniques—calcium imaging and optogenetics—for precise measurement and modulation of brain activity patterns with light. nanoDSF technology allows parallel high-precision characterization of stability and aggregation parameters of biologicals. A large number of samples can be analyzed for their thermal and chemical stability as well as aggregation properties in a volume of 10 µl and in a concentration range from just 5 µg/ml up to > 200 mg/ml.
