The Molecular Cardiology Research Institute (MCRI) at Tufts Medical Center in downtown Boston, MA studies the molecular mechanisms of cardiovascular disease and translates basic findings into new clinical strategies for diagnosis and therapy. Our mission also emphasizes mentoring MD and PhD trainees committed to careers in academic cardiovascular research.

The MCRI staff is comprised of 17 talented investigators and physician-scientists and more than 80 gifted researchers and trainees from around the world. They work closely together on six contiguous floors of state-of-the art research facilities on the campus of Tufts Medical Center and Tufts University School of Medicine in downtown Boston.
