The AARI is a CNRS laboratory at the service of the scientific community for biomedical and pharmaceutical basic research. It offers to the latter a set of services targeted on the availability of murine models.
TAAM has 3 specialized components each in a specific field of competence:
CDTA (Department of Cryopreservation, Distribution, Typing and Animal Archiving) is a center for the breeding and distribution of transgenic and mutant mice under different health status. Its recognized technical expertise (axenization, in vitro fertilization, re-derivation, …) combined with the richness of its line catalog makes it a leading player in the distribution of models.
The CIPA (Small Animal Imaging Center) provides researchers with innovative 2D and 3D imaging equipment, enabling the development of non-invasive means of exploration. Its close collaborations with leading companies enable the CIPA to implement the latest technologies.
SEAT (Transgenic Animal Services) proposes the creation of customized transgenic mouse models (conventional and targeted transgenesis) and the production of modified ES cells. This laboratory also offers the possibility of establishing transgenic lines from founders created on site.
