SRL – Sensory Research Ltd is an ISO 9001 accredited company, established in 2002 by Margaret Shine. Our headquarters are located at University College Cork, Ireland, where we have grown significantly during the last number of years to become a globally recognized sensory and consumer research provider.

In 2013 we merged with Independent Sensory Services, established by Dr Liz Sheehan who is now Director of Sensory and Consumer research at SRL. This partnership has strengthened SRLs research position in both Irish and international markets, and enabled us to drive efficiencies in cost and human resources. We have recently opened an additional research center in Chicago to support US markets.

At SRL we specialize in product understanding through the application of sensory and consumer research, providing industry, academia and governments with business and technical solutions for confident decision-making. Making the right choice from the many sensory evaluation techniques available depends largely on a company’s research objectives.

We provide a unique tailor made service to match each companies research objectives. The services we offer can be broadly categorized into product development, quality control and consumer research and are carried out using either trained or consumer panels.
