Small Business (1-10M TTM Revenue)

April 2004, Sensia spun-off from the technologies developed at the Biosensor Group within the National Microelectronics Centre (CNM) of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC). Concluding research results and availability of biosensing systems already working at lab level originated the proposal of bringing a small portable device into commercialization.

MONDRAGON Componentes entered Sensia’s sharehold in fall 2007, and the MONDRAGON Componentes Division took total control of the Company in 2012.

Presently, SENSIA launches a new SPR (Surface Plasmon Resonance) device called Indicator, for laboratory use, bringing rupture into conventional SPR technologies, with a versatile machine enabling both gold biosensing and graphene biosensing, reaching unattained sensitivities in the SPR world..
