Sandstone’s Torq™ Zero Delay Centrifuge System enables access to lab testing anywhere, anytime by bringing sample prep to the patient. Torq products include a very small, battery-powered centrifuge and consumables for automated plasma or serum separation at the point of blood collection (instead of waiting until samples arrive at the lab), dramatically improving sample quality, stability, test sensitivity, and reliability. Products are now available for capillary and venous blood collection, with applications including point-of-care diagnostics, clinical trials, at-home self-collection, and mobile phlebotomy.
