The Preclinical Imaging Shared Resource provides investigators with a centralized,
high-quality and cost-effective facility for anatomic and functional in-vivo imaging of small animals.
The specific objectives of this shared resource are:
To provide high-resolution anatomic and innovative functional imaging of small animals in the context of pre-clinical cancer biology and treatment studies.
To consult on experimental design and use of anatomic and functional animal imaging modalities.
To develop novel methods for co-registration of anatomic and functional imaging
To cultivate innovative strategies for functional imaging and metastatic tumor cell tracking.
To assist with or provide processing and analysis of image data
To incorporate a central structure for image data management and transfer.
To provide an ongoing system of quality testing and validation
