The services offered by PUXANO through Scientist.com are limited to Service Packages (3) that are well-defined with a short turnover. All experiments that do not fall within this category need to be done outside Scientist.com and its related legal framework. Services Packages (3) are:
1. Protein purification using portfolio scaffolds (request list at info@puxano.com): The Customer provides cell material with a target protein that has been tagged with one of the tags that can be bound by the scaffold of the PUXANO Scaffold Portfolio). Results: purified protein sample.
2. Membrane protein extraction screening : The Customer provides cell/membrane material that needs to be screened with different detergents and non-detergent extraction molecules. Results: WesternBlot and FSEC profiles of the extracted membrane protein in different (non)detergents (yield, stability, mono-dispersity).
3. CryoEM grid screening of pre-purified protein samples: The Customer provides purified protein material that is used to prime several grids part of the PUXANO Grid portfolio. Results: micrographs + 2D classes of the best grid.
4. Negative stain and cryoEM grid screening of nanoparticles (lipid nanoparticles, viral-like particles, vesicles, liposomes, etc.). The customer provides a nanoparticle sample that is used to prime several grids part of the PUXANO Grid portfolio. Results: images of the nanoparticles under negative stain and cryo-conditions.
