The Objectives of the center Primate Study Center (PRC) IPB whom:

To develop biomedical science and technology through education, research, training program, seminar, and publications with regard to an interest in primatologi.
To provide advice and assistance in establishing goals, strategy, and policies in the area of ​​conservation and use of Indonesian primate species in Biological and Biomedical Research.
To develop and implement a joint collaboration of diverse institutions in Indonesia and abroad to provide the transfer of knowledge and technology, exchange of information and expertise, and research and education in primatology
To build breeding facilities and natural habitats Indonesian primate species with respect to the conservation of primate species and their use in biological and biomedical research.
