Orygen Antibodies is a Scottish based Reagent Producer and CRO, specialising in end-to-end Polyclonal Antibody Production Services. Orygen was formed in June 2015 to retain and build upon the 40+ years of staff expertise, developed models and methodologies, and facilities of the Scottish Antibody Production Unit (SAPU).
Through a combination of in-house facilities and strategic collaborators, Orygen can offer the following services:
1. Antigen Design and Synthesis: peptides, carbohydrates, small molecules and whole proteins
2. Polyclonal Antibody Production
3. Antibody Characterisation – titre, specificity, affinity, epitope mapping, stability and product utility evaluation, purification
4. Development:
a) Monoclonal antibody development – creation of recombinant antibody library using RNA collected from circulated B cells
b) Screening and selection of lead candidate monoclonal antibodies
c) Assay development – range of immunoassay products developed from ELISA to enzyme activity detection via immunoassay.
