The High Throughput Biology Core (HTB) is an integrated, state-of-the-art facility focused on the innovative development, optimization, screening, and imaging for mid- and high-throughput assays. The core also offers human/mouse whole genome, miRNA, and custom screening libraries for cross-species functional characterization in a systematic, comprehensive, and cost-effective manner. Importantly, the HTB Core is strongly committed to being fully accessible to the entire academic community, both at the national and international level, in order to facilitate inter-disciplinary and multi-institutional collaborations.

• Custom siRNA/miRNA human and mouse libraries starting at $700

• Automated liquid dispensing starting at 0.1ul and microplate washing

• Robotic plate replication, reformatting, and media transfers

• Multimode plate readers (luminescence, fluorescence, absorbance, Alphascreen, infrared)

• Assay development, screening, data analysis and visualization support

• Automated tissue and cellular imaging

• Digital image analysis (ie. viability, colony count, colocalization, neurite outgrowth)

• Plate preparation for ELISA, and screening of small molecules, biologics, and other assays

• Training for independent equipment usage or supported / full service assay development / screening

We also share resources with the Rockefeller University High-Throughput Screening Resource Center (HTSRC) so that NYU users will have access to chemical libraries through the HTSRC.
