Encepharm was founded in 2004 as a spin-off from the German Primate Center (DPZ). With integrated expertise in all relevant preclinical disciplines and exclusive rights to unique research models originating from the DPZ, the team is perfectly placed to enhance the evaluation of novel therapeutic targets and drug candidates, as well as their preclinical development. Encepharm is particularly strong in the field of neurobiology, where the lack of suitable research models is a major obstacle to the non-rodent of novel therapies.
