Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México Instituto de Fisiologia Celular (National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) Institute of Cellular Physiology) Molecular Biology Unit (UBM) provides researchers with access to specialized methodology in the area of ​​Molecular Biology. One of the objectives of the Unit is to implement new techniques according to the needs of users.

The UBM has several services and equipment that allow the development of specialized techniques such as nucleic acid synthesis, sequencing, amplification and purification, image analysis and labeled samples, separation of high molecular weight DNA molecules , The quantification of nucleic acids and proteins, among others. Flow cytometry equipment is also available in the Unit.

The UBM offers its services both to internal users (IFC staff and students) and external users (staff of other UNAM units and outside)
