Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México Instituto de Fisiologia Celular (National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) Institute of Cellular Physiology) Histology Unit aims to support research projects in histological techniques.

It has infrastructure and qualified personnel for the development of specialized techniques that include: processing and paraffin inclusion of different tissues of animal origin, histological sections by freezing of animal tissues and different types of staining in sections processed by paraffin and freezing.

The Unit also provides advice on the use of equipment and different histological techniques. The services are offered both to internal users (academic staff and students of the Institute) and external users (personnel of other dependencies of the UNAM and outside)
