The NanoCraft was found­ed in 2001 as a Spin Off from Max-Planck-In­sti­tute of Col­loids and In­ter­faces (MPI-KGF) by Dr. Sabri Akari.

We per­form re­search and de­vel­op­ment pro­jects in the re­gion of Nano-, Bio- and Sur­face Tech­nol­o­gy with uni­ver­si­ties and in­dus­tri­al part­ners.

A large num­ber of first class com­pa­nies from dif­fer­ent in­dus­tri­al branch­es are al­ready work­ing with us and use the ob­tained in­for­ma­tion for their own de­vel­op­ment with high sat­is­fac­tion. We take on com­pact pro­jects of re­search about Nano-, Bio- and Sur­face Tech­nol­o­gy.

In 2003 the NanoCraft re­ceives the Dr.-Rudolf-Eber­le In­no­va­tion Award for the de­vel­op­ment of the patent­ed Chem­i­cal Force Mi­croscopy and in 2004 the tech­nol­o­gy award of the euregio.​bodensee.
