The Genotyping Core, part of the Medical Genome Facility in the Center for Individualized Medicine at Mayo Clinic, provides comprehensive genotyping services to investigators at Mayo Clinic and their collaborators, as well as researchers around the world.

Genotyping is offered on a variety of platforms, including state-of-the-art genome-wide single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) arrays. In addition, a number of approaches for methylation analyses are available. The core also provides consultations to assist investigators in determining how best to achieve their aims.

Services in the core support patient care by providing a discovery portal through which clinically relevant findings may be brought into routine clinical practice.
