Iowa State University Roy J. Carver Laboratory for Ultrahigh Resolution Biological Microscopy

The Roy J. Carver Laboratory for Ultrahigh Resolution Biological Microscopy located in the Molecular Biology Building provides an atmosphere for the development of interdisciplinary research between the life and physical sciences. Researchers can use the instrumentation housed in the laboratory to perform optical and scanning force imaging of their samples. Work space is available for students working on projects in the laboratory. In addition, the Carver Lab has a fully equipped cell culture facility and a data processing center where experiments can be analyzed and the results copied onto CDs for use in researchers’ home laboratories.
