MISSION
Generate and disseminate knowledge on the determinants and events that produce and reproduce the conditions of transmission or exposure related to the health of the tropics and subtropics of Argentina agents. Run this mission through research, training human, spreading resources and advice to authorities in the development and updating of policies and regulations in your area of ​​competence. To do so will develop and promote synergy of resources, promote international cooperation, coordinating their actions with the National Administration of Laboratories and Health Institutes and other national benchmarks, provincial courts, universities, networks and care, research institutions, and action with the community or in the field, coordinating multisectoral partnerships and building capacity where needed.

The NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TROPICAL MEDICINE will play a referential function of excellence at national and international level, field research, population, operational and / or implementation base, and training human resources.
